The mission of Marin County Environmental Health Services is to protect public health and the well being of all Marin County residents, workers, and visitors by preventing injury and the spread of disease by identifying potential dangerous and unhealthy situations and the promotion of sound environmental health practices through education and the enforcement of public health statutes and regulations.

• Submit a Complaint
  
  This form may be used to submit a public health complaint to Environmental Health Services (EHS). EHS responds to citizen complaints concerning specific public health issues. Typically, these complaints involve food facilities, rental housing, public swimming pools, septic systems, water wells and the Redwood Sanitary Landfill. Complaints in other areas of public health may be handled by EHS or the complainant may be referred to another agency. Anonymous complaints may receive no action by EHS. Emergency complaints (food-borne illness, sewage spill, etc.) may be phoned into EHS at 415-499-6907 for immediate response.
